Since the election, I have received a number of questions about how our ballots are counted, what the codes mean on the outer envelope, and more. I followed up on those questions with a visit today with our County Auditor, Charles Ross, Elections Manager, Kathy Fisher, and Bilingual Program and Office Coordinator, Yolanda Arellano, to learn more about how the process works. Their office is open to the public and they welcome you to call them at 509-574-1340 to schedule a visit. They are also happy to answer your questions over the phone. I received a great tour that answered the many questions I have received and also wondered myself.
