Governor Jay Inslee’s newly released Phased reopening Plan has caused confusion and uncertainty among our #YakimaCounty Small Business Community. Rather than closed-door meetings with a select few to come up with a plan for safely reopening businesses in Yakima County, our businesses and commmunity members deserve an open and transparent process with dialogue that encourages collaboration and shows support for our business community.
I have created a webpage designated specifically for sharing local #SmallBusiness Plans and concepts to safely reopen. You can share your plan openly or anonymously if you are seeking advice and feedback from the public. I will share the plans to promote dialogue and encourage consumer confidence.
We all care deeply for every member of our community, and we want to see the end of both COVID-19 and this economic turmoil. We can achieve balance by working together.
